Hello-
Well as long as the topic's up, it would probably be a good idea to give
you a heads up about knuckleheads itching to get your car's catalytic
converter. The trick? They get a battery powered sawzall and creep
under your vehicle. If it's a truck, like my old, trusty Toyota, it's
easier picking because it's higher off the ground. Then they saw the
converter out of the exhaust system and go straight to the recycle joint
to cash in on the platinum in it. I got hit on the 2700 block of
Burgundy. Another resident noticed someone creeping around his truck in
the same area and chased them off.
Just want to thank the NOLA PD for all the great help. The same old...
