If you're not going to make it out to Voodoo Fest to enjoy the festivities
this weekend, there's still plenty to do.  Pls see the message below from
United for Peace who'll be holding a paint party at XO Studios this

Dear Artists,
This Saturday from noon until 6:30pm at XO Press Park (Press St. and
Dauphine St.), United for Peace in New Orleans will be holding a "Paint
Party for Peace." We ask that all portraits that have been done, please be
turned in at this time. We will be painting clothing, signs and poetry for
the Peace Pilgrimage November 1st. For all those nonartist, we will be
painting the name of every person murdered since the Storm. Please come out
and join us, there will be music, open-mic and food.
