[MarignyBywater] Homestead Exemption to be Considered

Soon the legislature will consider increasing your homestead exemption.  And it is about time!  
 
It’s been nearly 30 years since the exemption was last increased and, during this time, property values have increased (and much of our neighborhood is currently greatly over-assessed).  
 
The proposal is to increase the homestead exemption to $170,000.
