[MarignyBywater] MarignyBywater Digest, Vol 37, Issue 23

I agree with Marie about the Homestead Exemption....have any people
in our
neighborhood/city talked with people from other cities and states?
Property
taxes are really, really high in most places....because that's how
they pay for
schools, streets, police and fire protection....duh....and without
good education
and recreation programs....there is an abundance of crime.....I am a
low income
professional, I struggle with homeowners insurance and the new taxes
I'm paying
since the re-assessment, but I agree....we must all be willing
stakeholders in our
community. And we don't want to drive away businesses and upper
income people
from our region. Gloria Powers
