In reply, yes Mr Coats it is a quality of life issue, if it were in front of
your house you would care, and of course I appreciate the larger issues, I
work on St Claude Ave where I interact with hookers, crack heads, and thugs
who spray our business fronts with AK 47 fire in their disputes. I dare say
i can match any katrina/post katrina horror story you have heard. Friends
murdered, attempted breaks ins, property vandalized, property stolen.
Standard stuff for anyone who has lived here more than a year. So does that
make us special? Does it mean we should become jaded and not care if someone
wants to abuse our community? Is it too much to ask that someone leaves a
place as clean or cleaner than it was before thay used it to make a buck?
Mabybe we should all just roll over and suck ammonia. I think not. If you
don't care about someone dumping trash in our community, that's ok, just
don't demean me for it.
