[MarignyBywater] taco truck

Hi Tom and Karl,
I admit I was being a bit of a wise-ass in my initial reply regarding
the quality of life issue. I am well aware of the 'broken windows'
theory and all that cascades from it.
My larger question though still stands: Have you spoken with the owner?
Years ago I was on the board of the FMIA and I was also a founding
member as it were of this discussion list. One of my frustrations with
the neighborhood engagement with these types of issues is that too
often we vent to each other and call for the police or the council
person or some agency to come and deal with our problem *before* we
have tried the simple human-to-human interaction.
Stop by the truck. Buy a Taco -- they are fantastic if you haven't
tried them -- and then talk with with owner. Let him know that you are
a customer but that you have these other concerns. We may just be able
to have a win-win rather than a shouting match or "official action".
All the best and I hope you are able to resolve this issue amicably.
Geoff
