The Krewe de Jeanne d'Arc has several upcoming activities that you can join in for free or for a fee! Get ready--the parade's less than two months away!!! 


November 18th 6-7:30  Joan of Arc Book Club and Discussion Group at Garden District Books...free and open to public...anyone curious is welcome..! This week's discussion is about the book by French medieval historian Regine Pernoud entitled JOAN OF ARC: HER STORY (translated!). 

Dec 6th  midnight Deadline for the Joan of Arc student contest, free and open to New Orleans girls ages 16 to 19 years old who speak French and have demonstrated leadership abilities. Visit www.joanofarcproject.org for application info. Winning girl leads the parade, as is done in the procession in Orleans, France. 

January 3rd  Joan of Arts Fete 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.:  A full day conference with free panels and $10 workshops culminating in a Jeanne d'Arc Cabaret. At Bienville House Hotel. Get educated and inspired for the parade! See www.joanofarcproject.org for schedule. 

January 6th St. Joan of Arc Parade 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Held on Joan's birthday, this Twelfth Night parade has a new route in its second year...from the Bienville statue at Conti to Chartres, across Jackson Square to St. Phillip and her birthday party at Joan's statue at Decatur.
